Quality tomatoes results

I'm happy to report that I finally have ripe red tomatoes. That is the good news. The bad news is that at this point I'm so attached to them that I have named then and I may bronze them because it seems wrong to eat a family member. Lol. I'm kidding!

House party for RedBook

What a fun night I have planned for my house party for RedBook. I have a tun of free giveaways by Loresal including true match foundation, voluminous smoldering eye linner , colour Riche lip balm , age perfect , youth code, performance , ever pure shampoo , magic lumi, false fiber lashes, and nail polish. As if that was not enough I also have hellmanns with olive oil, lipton tea, and a free year of RedBook and a cute tote to take it all home in. Now that's a party!! I have food and drinks and make up and friends and music and what more could a girl ask for. :-).

Update. The party was a huge success and I'm happy to say that all but one guest showed up. Thank you to all my friends and to redbook and to house party .

DIY granite island counter top

I'm the kind of person who loves a good project. I had the idea to change the location of a few counters in my kitchen, I was scared but that didn't stop me. So I went to the store and I picked up the supplies including: sand less grout, tile, floor cleaner, wood trim , nails, and the likes. I started by slowly removing the counter that was attached to the wall and then I separated the counters from each other. I had to clean the hard wood floors and that took some time but when I was done I relocated to cabinets into the new locations and then I reattached them. I then had a new island. I put a 3/4 inch think ply wood on the top of the counter top and then I added the tile and some cute support brackets. To finish it off I added some trim to the edges. I'm very happy with the project and I feel like a handy chick!

Fathers day gift ideals

So what do you get for the man who has everything? Our oldest child made a painted pot for her daddy in art camp. The two younger children will more then likely make a drawing or card for him. I gave him the children after all :-). For fathers day we give him the one thing that money can't buy, time with us to spend in the manor of his choosing. For mothers day we always go to the local zoo and for fathers day we go to the reinasaunce fair grounds. We spend time together as a family just walking around and seeing the sights.

I do have a huge surprise in store for him this year but I can't say what it is just yet. ;-). I hope he knows how much he is loved.

Up date: I got him a bike!! He loves it. It's a Honda shadow ace!
