Potty training tips tricks boys pull ups

My little guy is almost ready to potty train. I can't wait. I got him some pull ups potty dance training pants and the potty dance video. I have never trained a boy before but readiness willingness and consistency are all abundant factors for us. That's got to count for something right. My friends tel me to put "targets " in the potty to aim at like cherioes or drawing a target in a single piece of tp and making a game of it. Sticker charts and praise for a job well done are also a must. I'll update....
